Stage orders in your Interactive Brokers account from one line of Python.
easytradeorders puts orders into your own Trader Workstation with transmit switched off. You look at each one and click Transmit yourself. The software never sends an order to the market.
Buy a licence, USD 50 a month What you get

Illustrative. The orders wait in your order panel with transmit off.

Illustrative. A spreadsheet version, where each row is one call, is planned.
How it works
Install
Install the Python package with pip. On first use it downloads a small local engine.
Activate
Paste the licence key from your purchase. The key is stored on your machine and covers up to three machines.
Call a function
Connect to your running Trader Workstation and call the functions. Orders appear in TWS, untransmitted, for you to review.
What it does
- Size a position to a dollar amount, with a cap per order
- Buy, sell, short and sell-all, as market, limit or market-on-close orders
- Bracket orders: a limit entry with take-profit and stop-loss exits
- Flatten a position in one call
- Account summary, cash balances, positions and open orders as pandas DataFrames
- Cancel all open orders, with verification
- Every order is placed with transmit off. There is no setting that turns this on.
Who it is for
People who already trade through Interactive Brokers and want to prepare orders from Python, a script or a notebook, while keeping the final click in TWS. It is an order-entry tool. It does not decide what to trade, hold your money, or connect to your account from anywhere other than your own computer.

Questions
- Does it trade for me?
- No. It places orders in your TWS with transmit off. You transmit each one yourself, or not.
- Is this an Interactive Brokers product?
- No. easytradeorders is independent software that talks to the TWS API on your machine. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Interactive Brokers.
- What leaves my computer?
- Only the licence check: your licence key and an anonymised machine identifier go to our licensing service. Your orders, positions and account data go to your local TWS and nowhere else. Details are in the privacy policy.
- Does it work with a paper trading account?
- Yes. Connect to the paper TWS port instead of the live one.
- What happens if I cancel?
- The licence stops at the end of the paid period and the functions stop working. Orders already in TWS are unaffected.
